Working hard to maintain positive mental health is exactly that - hard work.
I completed Mental Health First Aider training in order to continue building on my personal experience and knowledge. Having known so many people that have fallen through the social care cracks it is nice to have this additional awareness and understanding of those around us.
If you would like to be part of the fight to build awareness and support others with particularly poor mental health we recommend visiting MFHA England.
If you have seriously injured yourself, feel you might cause harm to yourself or other, and/or require immediate emergency support please call 999 or go to your nearest Accident & Emergency department if you are able to safely do so.
The NHS are here to support your health & wellbeing 24 hours a day and if you do not require urgent help we recommend calling the NHS 111 or seeing your GP as soon as possible.
